Pope John Paul II wrote: "Do not be afraid to be holy! Have the courage and humility to present yourselves to the world determined to be holy, since full, true freedom is born from holiness." Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is a service that helps children hear and respond to God's Word in a way that is appropriate to their age. It's a time for prayer and reflection that's presented with child-friendly language and activities. Children's Liturgy of the Word takes place during Mass - children and leaders exit the church before the first reading and rejoin families before the congregation's celebration of the Eucharist.
