The following prayer was shared with our team as a way of joining with the universal Church in praying for Pope Francis who passed away Easter Monday Morning. I would like to invite all of you to pray it with us over the next week.
In the Easter Season, we focus on the hope that comes to us from knowing that our God willingly died for us on the Cross - and was raised from the dead. While we spent forty days of Lent in prayer, fasting and almsgiving, we now spend fifty days in the Easter Season! Our celebrations will continue far beyond Easter Sunday as we celebrate these communities where we seek Christ, and share His Gospel.
In this month's stewardship report, read about what people had to share with members of the team about what's going well, what can be improved, and staff and parishioners who were recognized for their great work!
The Archbishop has asked us to host a special collection this weekend for the victims of the recent storm.
If you would like to give to this special collection, please see the ambassador station after Mass.
Did you know that 25% percent of the money raised through the Rice Bowl in the Archdiocese of St. Louis goes to local groups? In 2024, the funds were divided among nine parishes, three in each vicariate, including a gift to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at Epiphany.
This morning we welcomed Aimee into the next step of her journey as she prepares to join the Church this Easter! On this first Sunday of Lent, catechumens publicly express their desire for baptism, their names are recorded in a book and they begin the final weeks of prayer and preparation.

As we gather together at Christmas Mass. You might have many reasons that you are attending today:

Why does Jesus have to be baptized? Did he sin or need to repent? No. He was baptized to fulfill all righteousness. In his life, the entire story of the Bible is fulfilled. So, he is baptized. Then, while he is praying, the Holy Spirit descends upon him. This is how he started his public ministry.
Jesus was born into the world so that we could become His disciples, and through Him, we
become sons and daughters of our heavenly Father. By His grace, we are equipped by the Holy
Spirit to continue His mission in the world, sharing the Good News and living as witnesses to
His love
